THE HOLY GHOST IS NOT OFFICIAL. The Spirit of Almighty God is not official but very love oriented. He is a relative, a loved one who is more concerned about you than the procedure. The good book records that when the wonderful Lord resurrected He showed Himself to 500 followers in Jerusalem (1Corinthians 15:6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.),yet we see only 120 followers being baptized in the Spirit on Pentecost in the upper-room (Acts 2). Where were the other 38o followers? For they were not there in the upper-room yet were in Jerusalem since it was the Passover festival-all Jews make pilgrimage to Jerusalem during the Passover festival. Here is the answer; They preferred the organized service of the Synagogue, the order of service of the Pharisees, the comfort of the Synagogue and the opinion of men. So they wanted a big Synagogue with a Pharisee leader putting on ‘holy’ long robes-holy style! Yet the Spirit of God will manifest strongly in a place where the meeting is wisely and lovingly given to Him. He will settle upon us like the morning dew on the grass and refresh us, He will penetrate every fibre in us and bring divinity into our humanity. A spiritfilled believer laughs at the devil’s threats for He in Him is greater than the hell’s best schemes. MAKE IT A POINT TO GET ACQUAINTED WITH THE SPIRIT TODAY.
