THE HOLY PLACE Taught by Apostle calvin THIS IS A PLACE OF WORSHIP (1)The Light the Holy Spirit (2) The word of God (3) The Prayers of the Saints to power to intercede Golden Candlestick Table of Shewbread The Altar of Incense The Holy Spirit The Word of God Intercessory Prayer before the Throne The Holy place St John 8: 12 St John 6: 51 1 Pet 2: 9 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eats of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. Heb 9: 1 Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary. For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the showbread; which is called the sanctuary. The first covenant had also ordinances of divine service “The first covenant had rules” of law to protect the people through God’s divine decrees and the pattern had to be done right, according to the word of God. If the ordinances wasn’t carried out right the people wouldn’t be able to enter into heaven or in their day, paradise beneath the earth. To obey the word of God it would save their souls, and bring their human spirit into the eternal paradise. And a worldly sanctuary The priest enter into the first tabernacle every day and all day, doing the service for the people and making animal sacrifices for the people, and you had in the first tabernacle, the candlestick, the table and the shewbread, and the altar of incense working to bring the people before God cleansing their flesh through this ministry of the worldly sanctuary, but the high priest would make his sacrifice once every year for himself and for the sins of the people, Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, “imposed on them until the time of reformation” (Heb 9: 6; 10). But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctified to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Heb 9: 11; 14 These scriptures foreshadows the real image of that which was fore to come, that is to say, Jesus Christ our sacrifice, the word that was to wash us, and the word that leads us to God, and the power to pray in the spirit to God; our prayers going up on the altar of incense before the throne of God. As we know according to the Holy Scriptures, Jesus is our brazen altar, He’s the laver of washing, “(and the Holy Place in the spirit),” and also our Most Holiest place in the spirit; and by Him we can go beyond the Veil, and also through Him, we can go to the third heaven and stand in the divine presence of the Lord God Almighty, praise the Lord. The word of God, (which is the shewbread), and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, is the candlestick, and the altar of incense, intercessory prayer is design to take you pass the second Veil into the presence of the Lord: the most Holy Place. In the Holy Place, were the golden candlestick, the altar of incense, and the table of shewbread is all a ministry for the priests. The Golden Candlestick The candlestick was of pure gold, with seven branches coming forth from the stand. The candlestick provided the only light in the tabernacle. Jesus is the light for the saints, and as we stand in a holy place before the Lord, we become light for others to light the way, and through the hope of the word of God which is the shewbread, we will teach others and help them through the altar of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. Just as the candlestick was of beaten gold, so Christ was first beaten, before we could receive his light and be fill with the Holy Ghost, and by the Holy Scriptures, the Holy Spirit is our light, which is the Spirit of Christ. The Candlestick is a type of the Holy Spirit: And also, the holy place is a type of our soul. The tabernacle represents the body, soul, and the human spirit: Because you have the courtyard the flesh, the holy place the soul and the holiest of holies the human spirit. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: (Col 2: 9; 10 Ex 25: 31-40). The Courtyard, the Holy Place, and the Holies of Holies, represents the three heavens or the third heaven meaning three. 1 Thess 5: 23 / 2 Cor 12: 1; 2 / 2 Cor 5: 1; 6 The Table of Shewbread The table of shewbread was approximately 3” X 15 and was 27” high. It was made of shittim wood overlaid with pure gold. On the table of shewbread were twelve loaves of unleavened bread which were to be eaten by the priest and his sons in the Holy Place. The shewbread provided the source of sustenance for the priest. Jesus is the bread of light which He provides sustenance and life for the soul as we eat his word of life, because Jesus as our shewbread he gives us life in the spirit of obedience; when we obey God. Just as the table was to exhibit the bread, we are to exhibit the word in witnessing to the world. Purge out therefore the old leaven that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. 1 Cor 5: 7; 8 Ex 25: 23; 30 The Altar of Incense Rev 5: 8 The altar of incense represents prayers to God and they goes up before the throne of God, the mercy seat, and these are the prayers of the saints. The prayers was offered to God each morning and every evening , and each day should begin and end with prayer, because this is according to the word of God, this is to be done by the saints upon the altar of incense every day. The aroma of the incense went forth when the incense was put on the fire: God hears the effectual fervent prayers of the saints it will prevail before the throne as it goes before the mercy seat; goes up like smoke as a sweet smell before God. (James 5: 16) And he will hear a righteous man and his prayers will prevail. Before there can be true prayer and worship, there must be death to sin and a washing must take place, before we can pass through the veil, and receive help in the time of need.( Heb 4: 14: 16). The fire for the altar of incense came from the brazen altar of sacrifice, because it was by death to enter into the Holy Place and of the Holiest of all, it had to be done by death at the brazen altar, which means, you have to give up all things for His glory to pass though the Veil, and this would give you a great dimension in the spirit. Ex 30: 1-10 Access to God by a new way (Heb 9: 1; 23) In this chapter, the writer reminds his readers that every element of the Mosaic Covenant had special significance, for it reflected realities in heaven (9:1-5). But the most significant act of all was performed on the Day of Atonement. Then the high priest entered the inner room of the tabernacle, the most holy place, carrying the blood of an atoning sacrifice. The curtain separating this inner room symbolized the fact that under Mosaic Law no one had direct access into God’s presence. But our High Priest, Jesus, entered heaven itself, bearing His own blood. By His sacrifice he obtained eternal salvation for us. Christ is thus mediator of a New Covenant, activated by His death. This is in fact the significance of Old Testament sacrifices: in cleansing earthly things they symbolize the cleansing Jesus has won for us. Animal sacrifices were sufficient for earthly cleansing of the flesh, but Christ alone could enter heaven and then with His own blood. He put away our sin once for all, all by the one sufficient and awesome sacrifice of Himself. And by the pattern in the Old Testament, the Father putting Him upon the brazen altar for us, according to the Holy Scripture to bring death to the sins of the world, by way of repentance The Sacrifice: (chaps 8-10) These chapters focus on the death of Christ as a sacrifice for us, which instituted the promised of the New Covenant bringing us to God. Sacrifices were practiced throughout the ancient world, where they were viewed as food for the gods. In the O.T., however, blood sacrifices were not viewed as food. The significance lay in the blood of sacrifice for, as Lev. 17:11 says, “I have given it (the blood) to you to make atonement for yourselves In essence sacrifice throughout sacred history has graphically indicated that sin deserves death, and death by sacrifice, “but that God will accept the death of a substitute in place of the life of the sinner,” and which our Lord died for our sins, putting Himself upon the brazen altar for the sins of the world, in activating by our heavenly Father, Jesus passing through the veil to stand before God for us, to help us to enter into the presence of the Lord and pull down with it, great and very powerful miracles in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. God will accept the death of a substitute in place of the life of the sinner. Through death we become a substitute in the area of deliverance for the sinner, because someone has to die, so others can be delivered through the power of God. This work in the human spirit to enter into the first veil, through the light of the Holy Spirit the word of God, and through the altar of incense, prayer, and that He will allow us to pass through the second veil and enter into heaven before God, and bring with it, all the things we need in our churches here in the earth to perfect the human spirit of man to become the Sons of light, and when God give us our Celestial Bodies we will become angels of light. For we will be like the angels: For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. There are also Celestial Bodies and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. (1 Cor 15: 40 St Matt 22: 30) Hebrews 8-10 Tells us that the system of O.T. sacrifices, structured so as to cleanse articles and persons on earth, were “object lessons,” establishing the truth stated above but pointing to Christ’s sacrifice Christ’s sacrifice alone was capable of cleansing a lost humanity so that we might have access to heaven itself and stand before a Holy God. This is the way into the Holy Place, and it’s through worship, and praise, by the real Holy Place in the spirit, (which is a type of our soul, and our human spirit is a type of the most holy place). The teaching of this great section of Hebrews: is that Jesus’ one sacrifice cleanses our conscience from dead works to serve the true and the living God. (Heb 9:14), does away with sin, perfects believers, provides a perfect forgiveness (Heb 10:11-18), and thus makes all other sacrifices irrelevant. (The O.T. Age truly is past. A new and far better age has dawned). Approaching God through Jesus Christ (9:8) St John 10: 1; 5 10: 9 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. I am the door: by me if any man enters in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. (The O.T. system permitted the Israelites to come close), but not pull aside the last veil and enter God’s presence. What a stunning difference in our relationship with God through Jesus. Through Him “we may approach God with freedom and confidence” (Eph. 3:12; Heb. 4:16). Our approach is characterized as parresia, a confident boldness in the presence of a superior. If we follow the teaching of the Apostle Paul and teach as a figure and foreshadow the Old Testament in revelation, you will see death comes first and then the washing, which will help us to pass through the first veil, and then the second veil into the presence of God. The pattern the Lord has given us is through the life of Jesus Christ, the real tabernacle of God, which is our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, He will help us to pass through the second veil and enter into the presence of the Lord by staying at the altar of incense, prayer. To enter in its only through our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, He’s the way into the Holy of Holies, because according to the word of God, which is the shewbread, He’s our High Priest. Seeing then that we have a great high priest that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God; let us hold fast our profession for we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Heb 4: 14, 16 For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious. Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same veil untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which veil is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away. And through Jesus Christ our Lord we have a passage to enter in before the God of heaven and the old ways is done away with in Christ. We are in the midst of an open heaven Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, (the heavenly Jerusalem), and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, (And to Jesus the mediator of the New Covenant), and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. Heb 1: 1; 3 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 2 Cor 3: 10; 18 Heb 12: 22; 25 Cleansed us from evil acts that lead to death (9:14) The O.T. sacrifices worked externally. Christ’s sacrifice works internally. With a cleansed conscience we are no longer bound by guilt to our past. We are no longer overwhelmed with a sense of our inadequacy. Our past sins are gone, and we are released to serve God, and are wash by the word and through the word, which is in the holy place, the shewbread; and this word will regeneration. “(Titus 3: 4; 6).” This word will, regeneration us through the power of the Holy Spirit, and this power of the Holy Spirit is the candlestick in the Holy Place “Forgiveness” (9:22) Forgiveness in Scripture is never a cheap, “Oh, forget it,” that simply shrugs off sin. Forgiveness is expensive, purchased at the (Price of Blood). The O.T. sacrifices revealed how forgiveness would be obtained. But only the blood of Jesus shed on the cross for us was sufficient to pay sin’s penalty. How awesome that Jesus was willing to die that you and I might be forgiven and be delivered from the powers of darkness to serve God in the spirit of our minds, and to follow His divine will to perfect the church at large. God has prepared a way of death to fulfill His divine purpose, to bring the sons of light into heaven, taking them pass the Veil into the presence of the Lord God Almighty, praise the Lord. A Holy Place or a Holy area in the spirit to work from the Mercy Seat, the Throne of God while in the earth, and this can only be done if one goes pass the Holies of Holies, Beyond the Veil. Because to stand in the earthly realm and minister from heaven itself, is a very powerful anointing given to you by God, because our conscious mind can be in heaven and in the earth at the same time, and only God can give you this kind of power.
