THE HOLY PLACE a type of the soul THIS IS A PLACE OF WORSHIP And a worldly sanctuary The priest enter into the first tabernacle every day and all day, doing the service for the people and making animal sacrifices for the people, and you had in the first tabernacle, the candlestick, the table and the shewbread, and the altar of incense working to bring the people before God cleansing their flesh through this ministry of the worldly sanctuary, but the high priest would make his sacrifice once every year for himself and for the sins of the people, Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, “imposed on them until the time of reformation” (Heb 9: 6; 10). But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctified to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Heb 9: 11; 14 These scriptures foreshadows the real image of that which was fore to come, that is to say, Jesus Christ our sacrifice, the word that was to wash us, and the word that leads us to God, and the power to pray in the spirit to God; our prayers going up on the altar of incense before the throne of God. As we know according to the Holy Scriptures, Jesus is our brazen altar, He’s the laver of washing, “(and the Holy Place in the spirit),” and also our Most Holiest place in the spirit; and by Him we can go beyond the Veil, and also through Him, we can go to the third heaven and stand in the divine presence of the Lord God Almighty, praise the Lord. The word of God, (which is the shewbread), and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, is the candlestick, and the altar of incense, intercessory prayer is design to take you pass the second Veil into the presence of the Lord: the most Holy Place. In the Holy Place, were the golden candlestick, the altar of incense, and the table of shewbread is all a ministry for the priests.
