THE HOLY SPIRIT, MY GIFT, MY HELPER This morning, I meditate upon the role of the Holy Spirit as my helper. In John 15:26 my beloved Lord Jesus says “When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify about Me In Romans 8:26, Paul says In the same way, the spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself interceded for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the the Spirit because the Sprit intercedes for the saints in accordance with Gods will. Both these passages fill my heart with such inexpressible joy that overflows in praise from my lips this morning. Who is this amazing God who loves me so much, is so concerned about my wellbeing that He puts on constant standby a helper to help me when I cant pray....to give me words when I cant speak and to stand before Him and advocate for me even when I have broken His own commandments....My God who provided the means of my salvation and forgiveness even before I knew I needed it?? I cry out in wonder.....Abba Father, Abba Father! When I need help, the Holy Spirit is there.... When I am broken... He heals me.... When I am lost He finds me.... When I am empty..He fills me.... When I am weak, He makes me strong... He teaches me, He guides me, He helps me.... He never leaves me Always by my side, Always there..a gift that keeps on giving over and over again...as long as I believe. I believe Lord!!!! Thank you Father for giving me a helper in the Holy Spirit, thank you for loving me with a love so complete I cannot fathom or understand it for indeed what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him ? Psalm 8:4. I cannot comprehend it but I receive it, I rejoice in it and I praise you for all that You have done...Who is like you Oh Lord ? Father, Son and Holy Spirit..Who is Like You???? Hail, hail, Lion of Judah, Hail the Lamb of God, Yahweh..Provider....Almighty God...The Holy One of Israel....To you all praise, Honour and glory!!! Today, wherever you are praise Him, glorify Him, let your lips speak forth His name into all your circumstances for in Him you have a teacher, a guide, a helper, a saviour, a protector, a provider, a lover of your soul...a refuge from the storm...It is complete, it is done... the enemy is defeated!!! Be blessed my brothers and sisters and rejoice for indeed the Kingdom of God is near, it is in our midst (Luke 17:20)!!!! Be taught, Be guided, Be led, Be helped..
