THE HOSPICE SCAM REPORT Please read our Facebook this past week about the Hospice Scam that the Federal Government is cracking down on. This Elder Death Industry has quadrupled in the past 10 years. Most of the Hospices are for-profit (60%) and make a 15% profit margin. The Hospice Industry bills Medicare $15 Billion a year for the $17 Billion in total for all the Hospice Industry sales a year. The Federal Government has about a $1 Billion in lawsuits against Hospices for fraud. The Federal Government is suing and recovering triple the damages for their losses. Finally, the Hospice employee whistleblowers are receiving a 15%, tax free, reward for providing the documentation to prosecute Hospices that are defrauding the Federal Government. Hospices are actually advertising more and trying to induce seniors who are not terminally ill to stay in their facilities in order to scam Medicare. Hospices are not free! The Hospice senior management are making millions of dollars a year in compensation plus huge bonuses are paid to employees that increase sales.
