THE HOT LIST: We are helping veterans move into new living quarters on almost a daily basis, providing them with the furniture, household goods, and other necessities they need to start their new lives. The most critically items need change almost weekly, depending on the ebb and flow of donations. We currently have an urgent need for the following furniture items: Bed frames (all sizes) , dressers, and coffee / end tables. Other current needs on the Hot List: Cleaning supplies Bath Towels Toilet Paper Facial tissues Paper Towels Q-tips Bath mats Throw rugs Laundry baskets Microwave ovens Coffee makers Toasters Crockpots Vacuum cleaners Irons / ironing boards Mops Brooms NOT ACCEPTING: We are not accepting TVs larger than 35 inches, entertainment centers, appliances, wheel chairs, bookcases, pull-out couches or large couches over 6 ft. Large furniture of any kind is difficult for our mission, as the majority of our veterans are going into efficiencies or small apartments. You can drop items off at the Bunker, 7222 W. Fond du Lac Ave., between 9 am and 2 pm Tuesday through Saturday. We are closed on Sunday and Monday. Call 414-763-5596 to arrange a different dropoff time or schedule a pickup. We make pickups and deliveries between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. We return calls during business hours. Thanks.
