THE HUMAN JUKE BOX has played all over the world, Africa, Washington DC, Las Vegas, California, Mexico City, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Alabama, Mississippi and gotten standing ovations for there performances and to be treated badly by our home state (Louisiana) University of Louisiana at Lafayette. If you havent purchased your Documentary The Band Plays On It is definitely a must have. I just looked at the DVD in its entirety enjoying all the history and listening to the wonderful stories. Then finally towards the end there was apart of the video that was very disturbing. During the 1st home game of the season (SU VS UL) Policeman brought in dogs to sniff the buses that the band members were on, according to the documentary it was standard procedure, Also in the documentary Southern was told not to play there music by two UL representatives because of advertisements and Yes, they got an ear full from Mr. Haymer . This is the first Ive heard of this but Mr. Nathan B. Haymer stood his ground........Check out the DVD. and tell me your thoughts about it..................I must say the UL fans seemed to have enjoyed the halftime performance anyway.
