THE HUMAN NATURE AND SECRET LONGINGS OF PILGRIMS Many years ago a beloved brother from my kindred, who studied in a university was expecting to get employed one day and enjoy the fruit of his labour. That is quite normal and is expected from every normal person, saintly or carnal. So, one day I or someone said, IF JESUS TARRIES and the pilgrim said let Him tarry or was it He will tarry, until he gets a job and enjoys at least his first salary. He wanted to enjoy the fruit of his labour on earth, before Jesus comes. There are quite a number of such secret desires in the heart of mortals who are pilgrims, because of the human nature. Those still single, and the others very close to their weddings, may not voice it out, but still say let Him tarry till after their wedding nights. Some other wish that He tarries, till their dreams of traveling to one foreign land or the other comes true. Some others wish He tarries till all their family members are converted and that appears more spiritual. If the Lord is to pay attention to all that, it means He will never come because at every point in time there are those who would be wishing one thing or the other. Such thinking is a products of the limited human nature and lack of understanding of the glory that will be revealed in the glorified saints. The beauty and the glory of heaven has not sank into our hearts, as we have not been able to grab what the Apostle Paul said by the Spirit, when he said eyes have not seen, neither has it entered the hearts of men........ Whatever, we think is the personal reason for which the Lord should delay His coming, so that we can enjoy for a while here, before the revelation of His glory in His beloved would not mean anything to us at His revelation. All the glories and provisions of this life, will be like the fading away of the stars of the morning, losing their lights in the Glorious Sun. I may not scold anyone with such desires, because I understand our limitations as men. We only need the REVELATION OF THE GLORY TO BE REVEALED AT HIS COMING TO SAY LIKE JOHN,EVEN SO, COME LORD JESUS
