THE HUNGRY HARE Long long time ago when the earth was as young as a rutty,red rat and round as an apple fruit, the Pangaea had not split into Laurasia and Gondwana. The living organisms spoke a common language and the evolutionary voyage had not kissed the island harbouring unfertile seeds of the Homo sapiens sapiens..... A funny, young grey Hare lived in the deepest part of a thick forests heart. This hare had scales on its body instead of fur. In one boring, calm mid-day, he heard frightening rumblings in his protruding belly, I am extremely hungry, he yawned and walked as fast as a dinosaur to find food. No sooner had he reached the huge mugumo tree, than he saw a big, green banana plant with a yellow hand having protruding smooth bananas. First find fast bind, he whispered and walked towards it with calculated steps, whistling heartily as his face beamed with sleepy-waky smile. I will eat those sweet, ripe bananas, he uttered and began to climb up to reach them. Unsuccessfully, he tried and tried and tried and tried..... he struggled and struggled encouraging himself, sweat yields sweet... sour strive sires sure survival,,,,so he encouraged himself on and on as his courage kept him aimed at the ultimate goal. Hardly had he picked a fruit when he realized that the sun, that lone sky explorer had already trekked from the zenith to nadir..... Bored,annoyed and exhausted, the hungry hare looked up the plant and pointed at it, I will not eat those wild bananas. They have overripened and are rotten!, he declared and hurriedly walked away.... From that day onwards, hares began to evolve into barks,herbs and grass eaters!!
