THE IMMORTALITY PROJECT — Mid-Point Conference — June 20th and 21st 2014 The Science of Immortality: Preliminary Results The Immortality Project is hosting a two-day conference at the University of California-Riverside. The theme of the conference is “The Science of Immortality: Preliminary Results”, and it ends the first year of funded empirical research. Scholars who have received grants for scientific or empirical work through the Immortality Project will present their work in progress. An aim of the conference is to facilitate conversation and feedback on this research as it develops. The mid-point conference is primarily intended as a venue for collaboration among the researchers themselves, but it will be open to academics and available to the public in the form of a webcast through the Immortality project website.
