THE IMPRIMATUR: BEFORE Jose Mourinhos arrival 3 seasons ago, Madrid were down to earth! Hardly crossed the knockout stages, Olympic Lyon was their hoodoo. Jose came won the Copa , won La Liga, the Super Cup in Spain and played three straight semis! He was unlucky not to play in the final! Mourinho strategised this team, aside Bale and Daniel Carvajal, every other person in the starting X1 was his player! He moved Ramos to Central Defence, cemented the counter attack Carlo Ancelotti used, amongst other tweaks!... But he had a problem his ego was poorly managed and hence his exit! Carlo Ancelotti came on board, restored unity, calmed frayed nerves! Made a few strategic changes like moving Di Maria from the flanks to the centre, where he is more lethal! Carlo kept faith with the counter attack and the rest is history! My good friends Jose Mourinho has his imprimatur in this team! U cannot wish it away! He may have lacked luck but he was the forerunner to this nite just as in Chelsea!
