THE INTERNET (THE GARDEN OF EDEN). PART 1 - TopicsExpress

THE INTERNET (THE GARDEN OF EDEN). PART 1 The internet of today has become something that has been judged to be good and also criticized to bad.. In this part, I want us to check from the word of God what the Internet actually is and whats God instruction concerning it. Genesis 2: 9 And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou may freely eat:[s] 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eat thereof thou shalt surely die.. Two things very key here. 1. The tree of life, and 2. The tree of knowledge of good and evil, both in the midst of the garden. I liken the internet as the garden of Eden in which we can place these two trees. I care for us to know that in the midst of the internet lies the tree of life.. Opportunities for life and life abundantly is there if we take advantage to eat thereof. There are sites to be visited that are life enriching; sites that are tree of life; sites that makes spiritual impact to the spirit; sites that when a man exploit and taps the resources therein, will not only produce life, but life abundantly. God has instructed that we can eat from every tree of the garden including the tree of life but except the tree of knowledge of good and evil. The unfortunate thing here is that we are like our uncle Adam. Our interest are never to eat from those sites (tree) that gives life. Those site where spiritual materials, messages, gleaning can be downloaded for the spirit consumption; rather we explore and exploit the tree God has instructed not to be eaten, the sites(tree) of knowledge of good and evil.. How much of this tree of life in the garden of Internet have we exploited to our spiritual advantage..the internet is good in this regard. May the lord help our hearts as he instructs us on this matter.
