One of our client is the owner of Gold, Copper, and Silver Mining Projects in Banyuwangi - East Java is seeking high achievers for position : GENERAL MANAGER CONSTRUCTION Significant oxide heap leach gold / silver operation East Java, Indonesia Experienced Mine Construction Manager The General Manager Construction will report directly to the Project owners and will be responsible for the overall scheduled construction: ensuring the mine, heap leach area, processing plant, infrastructure and all ancillary requirements are built in accordance with design drawings and engineering specifications. You will work towards a full handover of a constructed and commissioned facility to the operations team, inclusive of all documentation which includes equipment manuals (training, maintenance, spares etc.). Key responsibilities will include: · General management of the project site throughout the construction period · Develop, execute and review all the construction contractor(s) tenders · Manage project construction from kick-off through to and including commissioning and handover whilst complying with overall schedule and project cost budget · Manage the performance of employees and contractors on site, and provide regular progress reports to management · Review and action all contract variations. warranting they are accurately documented and approved · Monitor contract progress payments ensuring they are made in accordance to the approved schedule · Resolution of all contractual issues and handover of all documentation to the Project owners · Complete all documentation and transmittals to meet project and operation schedules · Compile all necessary, inspection and quality control reports to verify all phases and types of construction · Provide leadership and maintain a high focus on site safety, working within company OHS and Environmental guidelines The ideal candidate will have previously managed a number of large scale mining construction projects and have a track record of on time/on budget results. You will possess proven leadership experience, with well-developed interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Experience leading employees, subcontractors and Nationals to achieve successful outcomes will ensure you flourish within this first class development.
