~~~~THE JOURNEY SO FAR~~~~ Initially the journey of PHARM-TECH in polytechnic ends at the ND level in the past 5yrs before the course was able to achieve its HND last year and since then the only alternative for PHARM-TECH ND graduates to continue in their area of discipline is to proceed for PHARM-TECH HND as the issue of securing admission via Direct Entry into the university has being a great task as the number of PHARM-TECH products increases anually and JAMB is nothing to write home about. It has being publicly known that HND graduate must proceed for 1yr PGD program before moving for Master,PhD and Co... but the case at very difficult bcus if PHARM-TECH is totally deny at ND level for Direct Entry into university, only GOD knows what will happen when it is the time of PGD at the HND level. Several thoughts on this issue has being radiating on my mind since last year when I finish my ND program in PHARM-TECH for MAPOLY, although many personnel has made several move to eradicate the barrier before the progress of achieving D.E into the university likewise I too and I think the pressure before D.E issue has now being eventually reduce due to the outcome of my research made from the Nigerian universities, after necessary steps has being taken which has influence me to make my road to north, branching the east and coming back to the south-west before I now discover that:- * All Nigerian universities accept ND in PHARM-TECH as Directy Entry for any pure science courses such as chemistry,microbiology e.t.c *Only few universities accept ND in PHARM-TECH for biomedical related courses like pharmacology, physiology,anat omy,biochemistry e.t.c BUT NOTE:- ND result must be with distinction/upper credit ONLY As an evidence to the above info, I am pleased to inform U all that I have being offered 2 provisional admission this year through Direct Entry with my ND result. 1. Im offered admission in Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU),ile ife to study BIOCHEMISTRY 2. I have also being admitted by Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), ago iwoye to study PHARMACOLOGY All praises be to ALMIGHTY ALLAH for the successful journey so far, My sincere gratitude goes to all the Nigerain Vice Chancellor and Registrar most especially (OAU / OOU) for their understanding and support, My appreciation also goes the powerful PROF in the dept. Of Geology, OAU and the amiable senior lecturer in the dept. Of anatomy, OSUTH incliding my brother in the dept. Of industrial chemistry OOU. I will also love to acknoweledge the effort of all my friends in OAU, OOU, UNILAG, UI, ABU, BUK, UNIBEN, LASU, FUNAAB, UDU, e.t.c for their effective dissemination of all the necessary information and enquiries towards this achievable dream, It has being said that before a successful man their is always a woman that is why I say 3 Gbosas for sister Kafilat in the faculty of Agric OAU and a junior sister of my Aminat in the faculty of communication OOU for their selfless service and also to my family for their support both morally and financially.
