Our endocrine system secretes Hormones, which are chemical Messeges secreted into blood or extracellular fluid by one cell that affect the functioning of other cells. Most hormones circulate in blood, coming into contact with all cells. However, a hormone usually affects a limited number of cells, which are called TARGET CELLS...The Scarab Beetle represents the HORMONE, Carrier of the Target Cell. A target cell responds to a hormone because it bears receptors for the hormone. Within those Cells also sits a single Electron. These hormones are transported in your blood to their target....& their target is the Pituitary Gland within the LIMBIC SYSTEM. The Limbic System is interchangable as the Egyptian Gods (Ra, Osiris, & Horus). The Eye used in Egypt to represent these Gods is an exact depiction of our Limbic System. These target cells within the hormones are converted into Electrical Impulses through an Electrochemical process within the Pituitary Gland.
