I have a complain. as follows I purchased Milk yesterday at the Uchumi Nairobi West Branch , receipt No. 35088 and the price of the milk packets were 47/= on the shelf. . I bought 3 Packets and was charged Kes 141/= . There fore the Price per packet of milk 47/= is inclusive of vat. My question. These are processed foods why is the Supermarket charging Vat on Milk? The price should have been 40.50 per packet exclusive vat and should be abide per the VAT ACT. I request if this issue is looked at and appropriate reply can be given
