THE KILLING EFFECTS OF IPAD BIBLES, PHONE BIBLES, TABLET BIBLES AND LAPTOP BIBLES! In this century of development, we blessed God for transforming our lives by making the bible readily available. Technology is helping us indeed! We blessed God and I see the transformations that these bibles has done in the lives of believers the world over. Hoever, there are many disadvantages of this form of bible. First, one of the noticeable effect of these types of bible is the destructive consequences on searching the bible. With these bibles designed with search platforms, all it takes to bring out a verse of the bible is to know the key word of the verse. Then type it and then it will bring out the whole verse of the bible. For me, I used to search the bible when I forget about a verse or scripture. But with these modern bible format, I become lazy to search through my bible. All I need to do is to type a key and hit enter then the verse is before me. Secondly, there is an announcement you make when you are carrying your bible. You are indentifying with Christ Jesus. However, with the modern gadgets, many believers are even ashame to carry their bible now, the only thing they care about is these portable bibles in their gadgets. Evangelism is now done with phones and Ipad. No more bibles! Thirdly, constantly fixing ones eyes on gadgets like that affect the eyes. The light emitted by these devices affect the eyes. Fourth, there is another disavantage with using these devices especially when you use them to store revelations from scriptures you receive from the Lord. They could crash at any time. WHILE I AM NOT DISCOURAGING THE USE OF THESE DEVICES IN THE BODY OF CHRIST, but beware it is a silent killer of your bible research abilities!
