THE LAST DAYS ARE HERE! 2 Timothy 3:1-5, Paul says, You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!..... Can I ask you a question? Does your lifestyle, today, does it reflect that you are living a godly life, or does it look like your just acting religious, because you sure do love pleasure more than you do Jesus Christ?... Mmmm, which defines you, my friend?..... I know there alot of you who are hoping for eternal security; but God is challenging me each day to make sure that your hope of eternal security is in your relationship with Jesus Christ, and not in some prayer you prayed, or in you being baptized, or in your church membership!.... I cant sleep at night knowing that there are multitudes of people who fill our churches each Sunday, who have gone through the salvation plan process, that are living lifestyles defined by this piece of Scripture! And, when I bring it to some church leaders, or church deacons attention, their response is, They were really never saved in the first place... But, what God puts on my heart - BUT THEY ARE PRESENTLY TRAVELING DOWN THE ROAD TO DESTRUCTION!, while all along they think they are saved and heading for the Pearly Gates.... This is where, we as the church, has gone wrong! All we care about is getting them down to the alter, and getting them saved, but could care less about the power of God making them godly! We just put our hope for them back on that eternal security promise.. And a week or so, down the road, their lifestyles are right back being defined by this piece of Scripture... Im scared for our churches, today!... Can I ask you one last question? Is this Power of God really working in your life today, making you godly, or are you rejecting his attempt because you love yourself and your money, more than Christ Jesus? Mmmm, what is your answer? Eternal security is powerless, if Jesus Christ is nowhere to be seen or heard, through your lifestyle! Just saying...
