THE LAST GENERATION David said, “The days of our years are threescore years and ten [70]; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore [80] years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away,” Psalms 90:10. Jesus said, “So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, THIS GENERATION shall not pass, till ALL these things be fulfilled,” Matthew 24:33-34. Since Israel became a state in May, 1948, it will be SEVENTY in 2018, and EIGHTY in 2028. Based on these verses, we should expect that the final battle of Armageddon would take place before Israel turns 80 - NO LATER than May, 2028. That means the Confirmation of the Covenant should take place NO LATER than May, 2021, to begin the final seven years of “Daniel’s Seventieth Week.” We have every reason to believe that God will finish the work with Israel before that nation’s generation has passed. Therefore, as we approach that 70-80 year-old endpoint, It is perfectly legitimate to expect all these prophecies to come to a climax. "And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh," Luke 21:28.
