THE LEO OGOR SERIES: SEASON 10 (THE LEO OGOR YOU NEVER KNEW) RESPONSIVENESS AND ACCESSIBILITY Accessibility and responsiveness could be described as one of the features of a good leader/representative. Hon. Hon Leo Ogor no doubt, could be described as one of the most accessible lawmakers/politicians in Nigeria unlike his counterparts that hole up in Abuja and various states capital pending when elections are due. Its an indisputable, indiscutable, irrefutable and incontestable fact that Hon Leo Ogor is always home every weekend to attend to the yearnings and aspirations of his constituents. His accessibility, responsiveness, concerns for the welfare, needs and aspirations of his constituents necessitated his breakfast meeting with Isoko online advocacy group, Umeh Needs Road forum under the leadership of Barr. Afahokor Danjuma Duncan Hon. Ogor happened to be the first lawmaker in history of Isoko nation to host an Isoko online advocacy group for an interactive session as mark of his responsiveness, a singular feat which no lawmaker/politician of Isoko extraction has ever achieved till date. In response to the outcry of his constituents over the dilapidated state of Enwhe bridge, Hon Leo Ogor, in a swift move, facilitated through Niger Delta Development Commission,NDDC, the construction of the bridge which have been completed and put into use. As a responsive representative with listening ears, Hon Leo Ogor immediately and singlehandedly embarked on the construction of hostel accommodation for orphans at Irri, Delta state including the provision of borehole for the orphanage home at a cost of about N10million whose work is in advance stage to ensure the wellbeing of the orphans and with a promise to donate food items to the orphanage on regular basic immediately the plight of the orphans mostly their accommodation challenges was brought to his attention . The Deputy House Leader loves spending his vocation in his country home in Isoko to be more closer to his people and to help solving their problem instead of traveling abroad during vocation like some of his colleagues to enjoy the good things of life. He has always choose to identify with his constituents and their problems Due to his responsiveness and accessibility, Hon Leo Ogor, in a swift move, renovated a block of eight classroom at Eru Primary School, Igbide which was commissioned last year October when the dilapidated state of the classroom was brought to his attention by Igbide indigenes Hon Leo Ogor accessibility and responsiveness has necessitated his coming home every weekend from Abuja just to see to the wellbeing of his constituents. Little wonder the door to his country home is always thrown ajar with people trooping in and out in search of one favour or the other. Rt Hon Leo Okuweh Ogor accessibility and responsiveness have no doubt benefitted constituents as he magnanimously and singlehandedly sponsored the plastic surgery operation of Mrs. Ezuzu Edoka from Ovrode community costing millions of Naira at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, UBTH when the issue of his poor health was brought to his notice at his country in Ozoro, Delta state.. Rt Hon. Leo Ogor also recently sponsored the surgical operation of one Tina from Owhelogbo costing millions of naira immediately the helpless lady visited his country home seeking financial assistance to save her life. Little wonder an Igbide most respected Chief and civilian general, Chief (Barr) Mike Edegware said this of him, “Hon Leo Ogor is a good man. He is the only Isoko political officer that is responsive to public opinion. Moreover, it will be dangerous and counterproductive for Isoko to lose the Deputy Majority Leader position.” All the aforementioned and many more couldnt have been achieved if Hon Leo Ogor has hole up in Abuja like some of his colleagues visiting home once in a while. These and more are some of the many reasons why Hon Leo Ogor, the general of the House of Representatives, deserves re-election WATCH OUT FOR SEASON 11 OF THE SERIES TOMORROW
