THE LIBRARY OF THE DEAD Theres a Life so sane after death, its a place full of peaceful wealth. So pure and more serene than earth. But before that time arrives, let me send my soul an errand to those I will leave in the road to till my soil. When I die, and to grave i resign when i shut these eyes of mine, and go to that city of blissful pine, make sure you burn them all; Burn down those trumpets burn down those praises burn down those notes written on my grave: Those notes full of crafted lies, written by hands that are dead to saintly truth. Leave my grave as blank as blank with no note or words that speak of my life on earth. Dont lie on my grave, for only one judge can bear me witness, only one God can write for me. Dont waste your time, even the wicked have good words on grave, in loving memories great lies they engrave on graves of those even vultures detest, Even the dead in hell are crowned with lovely spell, so what use is mine, if a difference is dead to tell. Stop! Dont put me there, stop! Dont curse my corpse, dont lay me in the mist of damned souls! Stop! Dont put me there, stop! Dont lay my my body amongs the dead! For only the dead can dwell in that grassland of shame, stop! Dont defy me, for only those whose bones are broken are laid to rest in there; for neither am I dead nor expelled, neither is my bone broken nor spoilt. I have only left this body to gain another, have only left this flesh, to gain the one so fresh. Place me in a place thats not defied, place me in a place where peter laid. Let my body not lie where judas silver bought, but lay me in a place yet undone. In a place no body has yet unturned. When am gone to that place beyond, make not a book on my grave add not a note for me to the library of the dead: i already have a book, that which my deeds are written, a book in front i would stand when my soul travels.
