THE LITTLE I KNOW ABOUT SAINT VALENTINE: St Valentine is a man of love; he showed love to anyone he come across with the sick, handicaps, motherless babies, prisoners, the poor even the rich, but the main reason why he’s been remembered on the 14th of February was because of sacrifices he paid on behalf of his childhood friend…… St Valentine was a priest who offered to die in place of his friend who was accused of a crime he (St Val) thinks His childhood friend didnt commit, on the 14th of February was mapped out to execute his friend, but St Valentine had a thought within himself and said; ‘’ IF MY FRIEND DIES, HIS WIFE AND CHILDREN WILL ALWAYS CRY AND REMEMBER HIM BUT HIM (ST VAL) DIES NO WIFE OR CHILDREN THAT WILL CRY ON HIS BEHALF” So he gave His life on behalf of his friend and that was 14th of February.
