THE LIZARD KING is a two-act stage play written by Jay Jeff Jones that premiered in 1982. In 1991 an expanded production played in London, Connecticut and Los Angeles. The play explores The Lost Paris tapes of Jim Morrison and his relationships with Pam Courson and actor Tom Baker. Jay Jeff Jones actually knew all the principles in this story, and after 24 years were reviving the THE LIZARD KING for a new production, planned to premiere in Milwaukee, Wisconsin later this year. After the new production of the play is perfected, it will be touring and available for production elsewhere We have a great production plan that involves puppets, lighting and sound effects and other stagecraft that brings people into Jims poetry world. Does this sound like something youd like to see? If so, let me know.
