THE LOINS and the CAPE LIGHT I have decided to release some - TopicsExpress

THE LOINS and the CAPE LIGHT I have decided to release some material from a long time side project, ‘the Loins’, with all proceeds going to a good cause, the restoration Cape Sable Lighthouse. Download the album for a minimum donation of $5 from this address: theloins.bandcamp WHO ARE THE LOINS? The Loins are four guys from Clarks Harbour, Nova Scotia. Matt Swim, Matt Bone, Jeff Bone and myself, Ricca Razor Sharp. Since two of us have left Nova Scotia, we only make songs when we are all at home (usually over the holidays). The group has spanned 13 years, and each of our 6 songs were written and recorded during one day sessions. All songs are pertaining to themes common to the Cape Sable Island area (Fog, Clarks Harbour baseball, going to Halifax and blowing a month’s worth of fishing money in one night, etc.) and what they lack in polish, they make up for in humor, good fun and the occasional face melting guitar solo. ‘THE CAPE LIGHT’ On a small island visible from my kitchen window in Clarks Harbour, NS, sits the Cape Light, a lighthouse that has long lit the shores of Clarks Harbour. Its constant spinning is a part of life in CH, the way traffic is in the city. The iconic lighthouse has fallen into disrepair, but a campaign is underway to save it, and is nearing its goal. Please, download this album, entertain yourself with the songs, and help the fundraising effort, all at the same time. Our sincere appreciation, The Loins.
