You learn that its better to have little and fear God than to have much without the fear of God. Better to eat a vegetarian dinner with love, than a feastful of meats with hatred! Proverbs 28:22 NASB Those who hasten after wealth are often laden with evil in their eyes and souls and its very easy for them to sell their souls to the devil! They most often end up in poverty because God Has no Hand in their affairs. But the one who trusts and hopes in God will be fully satisfied and the Blessings of God makes one rich without adding sorrows to it! Help us o Lord to wait upon You for our Blessings in Jesus Name. Amen!!! While Pilate was sitting on the judges seat, his wife sent him this message: Dont have anything to do with that innocent man, for I have suffered a great deal today in a dream because of him. But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowd to ask for Barabbas and to have Jesus executed. Which of the two do you want me to release to you? asked the governor. Barabbas, they answered. What shall I do, then, with Jesus who is called the Messiah? Pilate asked. They all answered, Crucify him! Why? What crime has he committed? asked Pilate. But they shouted all the louder, Crucify him! Matthew 27:19-23 (NIVUK) The impact of a good wife is felt and evident only if shes listened to, heard and obeyed! Pilates wife warned him not to have anything to do with innocent Jesus Christ. However, he did not listen. He listened instead to the wishes of the crowds at the end of the day! What did they ask for? Crucify Him they cried in unison with mob action! So therefore, Pilates hands were also soiled with the Blood of Jesus Christ! Father, Help us to be wise and to listen to Godly wisdom when we are Blessed to have this all the time in Jesus Name. Amen!!! (18) Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; But happy is he who keeps the law. Proverbs 29:18 NKJV Where the fear of the Lord is absent there can be no revelation or vision and so the people fail to restrain themselves and do as they wish to their own peril! Some bring up their children to do their own will and fail to discipline the children. The children end up very badly behaved and get into trouble all the time. Lord, Teach us to be wise in the way we live and bring up our children in Jesus Name. Amen!!!
