THE LOVE OF OUR FATHER Dear Sisters and Brothers, A good friend of mine shared a daily devotional book with me that every once in a while really resonates with my heart. Todays reading is one of those. The following is borrowed with respect from a collection of Max Lucados writings called; Grace for the Moment. GOD LOVES YOU DEARLY We Love because God first Loved us. ~ 1 John 4:19~ Untethered by time, He sees all. From the back woods of Virginia to the business district of London; from the Vikings to the astronauts, from the cave-dwellers to the kings. From the hut-builders to the finger-pointers to the rock-stackers, He sees us. Vagabonds and ragamuffins all, He saw us before we were born. And He Loves what He sees. Flooded by emotion. Overcome by pride,the Starmaker turns to us,one by one,and says, You are my child. I Love you dearly. Im aware that someday youll turn from me and walk away. But I want you to know, Ive already provided you a way back. Dear family in Christ, How great is it to know that Nothing can separate us from the Love of God in Jesus Christ. May you abide in that Love today and be at peace. God is waiting for you.
