THE MAKING OF OUR LATEST PACK ... On Friday we were contacted by the lovely Sarah, a social worker at Evolve Wellington Youth Service. She asked if we could make up a pack for one of her amazing young mums. So today we made up this wonderful pack. And we thought wed show you what goes into each one ... Photo 1 - is how a pack starts! First we included a beautiful hand-crafted quilt, The Sleep Store miracle swaddle, muslins, a pack of booties, socks, shoes and hats, baby books, disposable nappies, wipes, Baby First reusable nappies and Baby Online liners, socket covers, a Tommee Tippee (NZ) digital thermometer, baby lotion, baby balm, flannels and Earthwise laundry liquid and shampoo. Photo 2 - then we add a fantastic Merino Kids merino sleeping bag and merino nightwear, a spare cotton sleeping bag, sheet sets, a hooded baby towel, swaddles, more books and 10 bibs. Photo 3 - we start filling the pack with a whole wardrobe of clothes for bubs from birth to 6 months old. We start with twelve bodysuits and 8 all in ones. Photo 4- next we add 8 tops and 11 pairs of pants, leggings and shorts. Photo 5 - plus 3 lovely knitted cardies, a hoody and extra hats and booties. Photo 6 - and finally we finish off this incredible pack with baby toys - a beautiful handmade rattle, a gorgeous puppet, soft toys, taggies, balls and a ring stacker. PLUS a beautiful pair of new leather moccasins by MaddMoxx and a gift for mum - a beautiful new bracelet. And now this amazing pack is all ready to head off to its wonderful brand new home, with the addition of 200 extra nappies as well. We hope those of you who have donated to this pack get to see what you have helped to achieve - to us each pack is like looking at a small miracle.
