THE MAN FOR THE JOB HOW NORTH HAS BEEN MAKING NIGERIA UNGOVERNABLE FOR PRESIDENT JONATHAN-- By Princess Chika Jennifer According to Alhaji Lawal Kaita, the close ally of former vice president Atiku Abubakar on October 2010 promised that the North will make Nigeria ungovernable for President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan if he dares win the 2011 election. Since president Jonathan assume office in 2011, there has been consistent bombing of innocent Nigerian citizens (in the north especially). From the statement made by Alhaji Lawal, it is a clear indication that bokoharam terror is more of political than people might think of it.. You would agree with me that Bokoharam is one of the major means they use in making Nigeria ungovernable for Mr president . Few days ago in this month of December 2014, a 14year old girl was caught in Kano with bomb explosives tied round on her waist in order to carry out another disastrous attack on innocent Nigerians but as God may have it, her plans and that of the people that sent her on that mission failed. After a thorough interrogations, it was gathered that her father who is also a northerner volunteered her for the job.. #sad! Now, from my own understanding, this is how they (Northern Elites) persuade some people to give out their daughters as suicide bombers: 1. They look for the poor men with so many children who can barely train them up to a standard, 2. They give them huge sum of money that a poor man can never resist and 3. Make a promise to give them charms for protection. Ofcourse, suicide bombing seems to be the easiest form of terrorist attack because you do not know what is in the body of a person you passed by. They carry out these attacks consistently in order to tell the world that President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is a weak president who cannot handle the security challenges in the country effectively.. Today, Buhari the flagbearer of the All Progressive Congress (APC) is telling Nigerians that he will stop Bokoharam under 3months if elected president. How is he going to do that? If you would agree with me, the north is not only fighting president Goodluck Jonathan today because hes weak or clueless but because they want power return back to the North. The call by the opposition party APC for President Jonathan to resign from office if cannot handle the security challenges and their choice of candidate clearly tell we Nigerians that the North are desperately in need of power.. If you ask me why I would want president Jonathan to continue in office till 2019, Ill simply tell you that Jonathan has achieved what previous leaders couldnt achieve for more than 4 to 5 decades since Nigeria came into existence despite the challenges of Bokoharam insurgency in Nigeria. If previous leaders did half of what Jonathan is doing today in terms of infrastructure development and the rapid growth in our economy, Nigeria would have gone far better than it is today.
