THE MAN FROM EARTH, directed by Peter Sheppard will have its final - TopicsExpress

THE MAN FROM EARTH, directed by Peter Sheppard will have its final weekend set of three performances at Homers Pier One Theatre on the Spit starting tonight (Thursday) and continuing Friday and Saturday. Show time is 7:30. Reservations at 907-235-7333; advance tickets at The Homer Bookstore. Tickets also available at the box office outside the Spit Theatre, starting about 45 minutes before show time. The story line of THE MAN FROM EARTH is, in short form, what if a Paleolithic man just lived on, and on, and on, into this century? What if he survived the suspicions of those around him, who notice that he doesnt ever seem to get older, by changing jobs every 20 years or so? I heard some audience members say, Well, anythings possible, I suppose. --a line used repeatedly by one of the characters in the play. THE MAN FROM EARTH was first a movie, and then a play. The film has some notoriety as a sci-fi cult classic. Thanks, Lance Petersen
