THE MATTER WILL NOT COME TO US… Another name for the phrase ‘the matter’ is the ‘current situation’ and it is always running away from man because it is an event that just began and does not want to come to an end quickly. It is only the effect of the concerns that it radiates from a distance that we can see, we really cannot see the end of its life span. Situations are not permanent occurrences that live with man forever yet he cannot help but feel the impact of its ‘domain’ which is the reluctance to finding a solution to the problem of its continued existence. Take for instance a family living in a house with a leaking roof will easily look at their present condition as the evidence of their life of poverty because they do not have the fund to repair the roof. As long as the family do not find a solution to the problem of their leaking roof in respective of their inability to find funds their current situation will remain permanent, because the ultimate objective of any current situation is to remain permanent and not to come to man so he can provide a solution A current situation is like an eye witness that is in a hurry to testify for or against us and not like a judge that wants to pass judgment on us. What it means therefore is that every current situation is like a conditional reality whose continued existence depends on the determination of a man’s mind, because no problem will come to man to serve it. A current situation is the evidence of an historical occurrence that produces a temporary result that a man must face, and how long it last depends on how a man have chosen to eliminate it or sustain it. In 2 Kings 7: 1-8, we are given the account of four leprous men who decided to ‘go’ to their problem for solution, they were just tired of sitting and waiting for a solution so they stood up and walked in to the enemy camp where they believed that their solution was. One of the mysteries of life is that finding a solution to a problem must first be a problem to the problem, because a problem will not end until it sees a problem that is bigger than it. The reason why men turn to God for solution to their problems is because God always comes as the bigger problem to a problem. No problem can solve God. Every time that man sees God as a solution the Devil sees him as a problem, because God is the world’s biggest unsolved problem for those who are the enemies of truth.
