THE MEANING AND MYSTERY OF CHRIST’S DEATH AND RESURRECTION – GOD’S HIDDEN WISDOM (2) WHY JESUS CAME INTO THE WORLD: 1. Jesus came as the Road-pointer to the Father: As Adam and Eve fell, God drove them from the Garden of Eden and from that day, there has been a cry in the soul of every man for something and it is the void of God’s Presence. Many seek to fill that void by many things to no avail. And so Jesus came as the Road-pointer to the Father. THINGS TO NOTE ABOUT JESUS’ ROLE AS ROAD-POINTER: 1a. Outside of Jesus Christ, the emptiness of man continues 1b. Outside of Jesus, the experimentation process continues The devil did not realize that by making Jesus to die, Jesus was paying the price for the whole of humanity put together and freeing humanity from the grip of the devil. And so the devil tried to fight God but ended up fighting himself (Heb. 2:14-15,Mark 16:17-18). DECREES: What the devil means for your evil is turning out for his evil in Jesus Name! What the devil tried to work against you is working against him in Jesus Name! Every gallow they have prepared to hang your life, job and destiny, those who prepared it shall be hung there in Jesus Name! Every agent of the devil working against Nigeria, in the name of terrorism, what they are working against Nigeria is working against them now in Jesus Name!
