***THE METHOD THAT I USE IN CONDUCTING MY RESEARCH*** I am a humble seeker of truth. I strongly believe in the Qur’anic way of life, and it is my faith that every word in the Qur’an is the Ultimate Truth. However, I constantly do my research to confirm the authenticity of Qur’anic statements. This is exactly what the Qur’an has taught us to do, and it is the very first condition of believing in the AAYAAT (= signs = verses of the Qur’an) of God as explained in Surah Al-Furqan, in which Allah refers to Momineen (true believers) in the following words: Verse#25:73 “wa alazeen iza zukroo bi aayaat rabhim, lam yakhroo alaeeha summun wa ummyanan”... TRANSLATION: “And when they are reminded of (even) the revelations (verses of the Qur’an) of their Lord, they do not fall at them like deaf and blind (with deaf and blind acceptance).” The above verse very clearly advises that before believing even the verses of the Qur’an, we must conduct research to verify and confirm their authenticity. In order to comprehend the meaning of physical and metaphysical concepts mentioned in the Qur’an, I follow the advice of our beloved Shah Bhitai of Sindh, and always consult the books and research work of World’s most renowned and eminent scientists, scholars, and research fellows. Shah Bhitai says: “akh ulti dhaar, waaoon ulto aam sain, jay lahwaaro lok wahay, ta toon oocho wahu obhaar, manjhaan noocha nihaar, waaoon putheero Pireena mday” … Shah Bhitai TRANSLATION: “Train thy eyes to see things differently; and tread on an uncommon path; If people go with the flow, you must tread high up in the opposite direction; Have a firm gaze at your Beloved, proceed to Him reverentially.” In the Qur’an, there are over 700 verses that are related to Science (this number is more than those verses that are commonly taken in the context of ritual prayers). To understand scientific concepts, we CANNOT rely on the books of traditions that are promoted by ignorant Mulla (religious cleric). For this, you need to consult the books of science and mathematics. In my future posts on Facebook, I will share my research and thoughts on the topics of science with reference to hints and tips given in the Qur’an. Some of the topics that are churning in my mind are: 1. Big Bang Theory 2. Beginning and End of this Universe 3. Existence of muti-universes 4. Existence of Planets the likes of Earth 5. Space exploration As I study advanced science and mathematics, my understanding of the Qur’anic references related to scientific facts about the Universe become more clear, and my faith in the Qur’an grows even stronger. Today, I can describe my state in the words of Shah Bhitai as follows: “ddoriyaan ddoriyaan, ma lahaan, shaal ma milaan Hoat: mana undari ja loacha, muchhann saa maathee thiay.” … Shah Bhitai TRANSLATION: May my search must continue ad infinitum, and I shall never find Hoat (God); Lest the craving in my mind for Him may be abated on meeting Him.
