THE METROPOLITAN ANTI RABIES MOVEMENT: Finally the movement that I was planning to launch for such a long time started off today. The Metropolitan Anti Rabies Movement is a 52 week program under which Darshak and me would be vaccinating 30 stray animals every weekend. All the expenditures will be borne by me and I am NOT looking forward to any kind of donation from people as I always did. India is the global rabies capital of the world and want people from every society to vaccinate their stray dogs annually. Do you know the money that you derive by selling your old newspapers for three months can easily vaccinate 15 stray dogs. When it was for mankind we managed to eradicate polio. Lets erase rabies for the animal kingdom. Its a shame that a developing country like India accounts to maximum number of rabies deaths in humans. Its time to change the stats.
