THE MILLENNIUM 1. What two great events mark the beginning of the one thousand year? Acts 3: 20, 21 "And He shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you; whom the heavens must receive until the time of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began." Revelation 20: 1, 2 "And I saw an angel came down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. AND HE LAID HOLD ON THE DRAGON, THAT OLD SERPENT, WHICH IS THE DEVIL, AND SATAN, AND BOUND HIM A THOUSAND YEARS." 2. Will he be allowed to deceive the nations any more until these thousand years be fulfilled? verse 3 "And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season" 3.Where will this reign be? Revelations 5:9, 10 "and they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; and hast made us unto our God kings and priests: AND WE SHALL REIGN ON THE EARTH" 4. Have we any other proof this reign will be on the earth? Daniel 7: 27 "and the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom UNDER THE WHOLE HEAVEN, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most high, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him" 5. What promise was given to Mary by the angel? Luke 1:32 "He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: AND THE LORD SHALL GIVE UNTO HIM THE THRONE OF HIS FATHER DAVID" NOW, SINCE DAVID WAS KING OF ISRAEL, IT FOLLOWS THAT HIS THRONE MUST BE ON THE EARTH. RIGHT? 6. What condition will exist during the millennium? Isaiah 2:4 ".....Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore" 7. Will they enjoy the work of their hands during this period? Isaiah 65:22 "they shall not build and another inhabit; they shall not plant and another eat.........and mine elect shall long enjoy the works of their hands" 8. How will this millennium end? Revelations 20:7 "and when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison" verse 8 "and shall go to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the EARTH Gog and Magog to gather them to battle." Verse 9 "and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city" Now, if the saints will be in HEAVEN, then how will Satan war the saints? The saint will spend the millennium on the earth. 9. While they are thus engaged, what calamity will befall them? Verse 9 "And fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them" Revelations 21: 1"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea" Proverbs 10:30 "THE RIGHTEOUS SHALL NEVER BE REMOVED, but the wicked shall not inhabit the Earth." CONCLUSION: NO MAN IS GOING TO HEAVEN! THE RIGHTEOUS WILL BE ON THE EARTH. THE WICKED WILL BE REMOVED (DESTROYED) FROM THE EARTH
