THE MISSING KEYS, ANOTHER MIRACLE! My afternoon shift at work - TopicsExpress

THE MISSING KEYS, ANOTHER MIRACLE! My afternoon shift at work starts at 2pm and ends at 8pm. On that fateful evening I had few emergencies to attend before handing over to my night shift colleague, so I left the hospital at almost 9pm. My house is 35mins drive to the hospital (without traffic). I got home late and tired, then i reached into my bag to fetch my keys but unfotunately they were nowhere to be found? I poured the contents in my bag unto to the floor of my porch but found nothing so I had to go back to work and search for it but yielded no results. All shops were closed at that time to buy new locks and find a carptenter to break and fix, where was I going to find a carpenter in an estate outside town where I live after 10pm? As I headed towards home from work after fruitless search I called my neighbour (an elderly woman friend, Anty Cynthia) to find out if she had seen any bunch of keys around the house but she replied no. I decided to ask her to allow me sleep in her apartment so I find a carpenter in the morning; that was the solution I had in mind. When I got to the gate, there stood my neighbour and her cousin standing and waiting for me with a torch in hard, apparently, she had gotten out to help look for it after my call. She asked if I found the keys at work and I said no. Then she went in for a bunch of keys she uses in her other home in Accra, suggesting that we try if any could open my door. To the glory of God, the first key tried opened my door! Her bedroom key in Accra, lol. I couldnt believe it cuz I was expecting fruitless tries before I put in my request to sleep in her apartment. I hugged her with gratitude as tears flowed down my cheeks on how God keep surprising me with miracles just in one month and after the gas incident. I thanked her and told her I would return her in the morning after buying new locks. When I got inside I cried and thanked God for another miracle. Around 2:30am, I was awakened by a missed call. I realised it was from her so I called back. She sounded worried as she told me there was a thief on the compound going round with a torchlight and attempting to enter into another neighbours car. She was watching him through the corner of her closed sliding window at the hall. We were gripped in fear because our compound is a big, cemented and gated with separate selfcontained apartments each for 5tenants. Only 3 of us were around as the others had not returned from their xmas break. She lives alone in her two-bedroom apartment and so do I. I was scared because this is the third time we have been attacked, I guess the bad guys around think because our apartment is nice and we have cars parked they will get something from us, well they been on me twice and succeed in taking my HTC when I was asleep sometime last year. We told ourselves to keep quiet. I prayed without attempting to call the police bcos I didnt know if one of them was at my window and might fire gunshots into my room upon hearing me. I whatssap my colleague on night duty to inform him. After some hours, he replied and apologized for delay in reply as he had dozed off. At that time, the theif had left without causing harm after he didnt find anything in the car he entered. Then my colleague told me he had found a bunch of keys close to the microscope I used. I asked him to send me a pic of it and it was mine. There I remembered one of the service personnel ask for a coin to buy water that afternoon and so probably left it there after finding him one. I wondered how we didnt find it that evening. I thanked God and went for my keys without having to change my locks. When I returned her key latter in the day we both realised her key which opened my door was different in size compared to mine, yet another miracle. Even though I have informed the police patrol team to come around our area, I know my protection lies in the hands of God. May God do a miracle for you as you rely on Him. He that watches over us indeed neither sleeps nor slumber. Jehovah - Raah!
