THE MONTH OF AUGUST: THE MONTH OF A NEW BEGINNING God created the world in six days, but on the seventh day, He rested. That is the beginning of a 7-day week we have today. Seven is the number of perfection or completeness. After seven, comes eight, which is a new beginning, a new visitation. No matter what you have experienced in the past seven months of this year, from January to July, God will begin something new in your life this month. Whenever God visits a person or a place, He leaves a deposit of blessing behind, which will be a cause for laughter. He visited Sarah and turned her situation around. Sarah said, “The Lord has made me to laugh, so that all that will hear will laugh with me.” Genesis 21:6. God turned the hopeless situation of Abraham’s family around when He visited them. So shall your portion be this month in Jesus name. All who have been laughing at you will start to laugh with you from henceforth. Prepare to receive the August Visitor, who will visit your home and take away the cause for sorrowing, weeping and depression. Your reproach He will roll away, and leave behind a cause for laughter, joy and dancing. The Lord who remembered Sarah will remember you and make your season of fruitfulness to come, even when it appears it is too late. For “they shall bear fruit in old age.” Amen.
