THE MOSIAC LAW WAS NEVER GIVEN FOR SALVATION TO BE SAVE There are people today who may not believe they are under the Law, but they use good works you have to do good works not only for your salvation to be saved but to maintain your salvation to stay saved, same thing as keeping the Law. The Law was never given to save a person, the Law was given to show a person that they could never be perfect enough to save them selves by what they did. The Law, was forever settled in the first Church counsel at Jerusalem in Acts 15. Specifically, in vs. 24, the Apostles reassured that they never gave such commandment that a Christian had to keep the Law what so ever. Why, after 2,000 years, is this still a debate? The Law came by Moses, but grace and truth is what Jesus brought (John 1:17). Jesus is the end of the Law for righteousness to all who believe (Rom 10:4). The Law has been abolished (Eph 2:15); taken out of the way, and nailed to the cross (Colossians 2:14). Through Christ, we are delivered from the Law (Romans 7:6). Why was the Law abolished? Because it made nothing perfect (Hebrews 7:19). Because it was only types and shadows of Jesus, and not the real thing (Hebrews 10:1, John 5:39-40). Because it was weak, unprofitable, and beggarly (Hebrews 7:18, Gal 4:9, Romans 8:2-4). Why was it weak? Because it only brought the knowledge of sin (Romans 3:20), and not the solution. The Law doesn’t help you keep God’s perfect standard; it just tells you what it is. That’s why it kills (2Corinthians 3:6). GALATIANS 3:5 Says, but to him that work not and just believe, on him is counted for righteousness. Do you know that your faith alone is counted for your righteousness? You go to heaven by your faith alone, by what you believe and what you have trusted in, and not by something you have done, which would be works for salvation. GALATIANS 3:6 Says, God imputed our righteousness with out works. See by faith alone God gives to you his righteousness through Christ as a free gift In Ephesians 2:8,9, through faith and by faith alone. Grace is just the opposite of the Law, Grace means unmerited favor, means undeserved mercy, Grace means God is giving us something we don’t deserve for free, works means you have earn it, by you doing something to receive GALATIANS 3:2 Says, this only would I learn of you, received the spirit by works of the law, or by the hearing of faith. Did you receive Jesus Christ the Holy Spirit by your faith alone, or by something you trusted in that you did? ROMANS 3:26 To declare, I say at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which in Jesus, we are justified through Jesus by faith, when we trust and accept him as our savior by faith alone. ROMANS 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what Law of works? Nay: but by the Law of faith. ROMANS 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the Law. ROMANS 4:4 Says, Now to him that work is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt, ROMANS 4:5 But to him that work not, but believe on him, that justified the ungodly his faith is counted for righteousness: Do you know that your faith alone In Christ alone saves you and is counted for righteousness. ROMANS 4:6 Says, (God imputed our rightness without works.) See when a person accepts Christ alone as savor by faith alone, God inputs the Holy Spirit into you, then you are seen righteous by God through Christ, by faith. God gives to you his righteousness through his son Jesus Christ. Is not Christ righteousness good enough to save you and get you in heaven? Think about this. TITUS 3:7 Says, that being justified by his Grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal Life. Lets look in the book of Galatians, GALATIANS 2:16 Says, Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the Law: for by the works shall no flesh be justified. which means saved. God makes it plain that no person will be saved or can ever be saved by your works by something you did or do for your salvation to be saved. JOHN 3:17 Says, For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but the world through him might be saved. JOHN 3:18 Says, He that believe on him is not condemned: but he that believe not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. JOHN 4:22 Says, For the Father judge no man, but has committed all judgment unto the Son: Jesus Christ is the judge and he says you are not condemned if you believe, how can any one condemn you to hell like wise? you are not condemn if you believe the case is settled. JOHN 3:36 Says, He that believe on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believe not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abide on him.
