THE MOTORSPORT CLUB AWARDS DINNER 2014 The Motorsport Clubs annual awards dinner took place last night at Auckland Citys Heritage Hotel. With almost 100 people from various elements of the motorsport fraternity in attendance, the evening was one of celebration and appreciation of the volunteers and officials who make the biggest sacrifices to keep the sport up and running. The Motorsport Club also paid tribute to a number of members of the community who have recently left us, as well as the currently bedridden Eoin Young. One the most famed writers in the Kiwi automotive industry who later worked in Europe, Young is currently in Christchurchs St Winifreds hospital. Velocity New Zealand would like to take the opportunity to thank those who make these sacrifices for the sport, for limited profit beyond their own enjoyment of the sport and their desire to help it improve.
