THE NAME OF JESUS Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. On one occasion a doctor acquaintance of mine was working in the intensive care unit. The nurse who was working with the patient in the next bed, told him that her patient’s heart had stopped. He was busy with his patient, so he spoke to the other patient and said, “In the Name of Jesus, heart start beating.” He told the nurse to recheck the patient’s heart beat. The heart immediately obeyed because of the power of God being released through the doctor’s words. The nurse was amazed at what had just happened. You have the same authority to use the power of the name of Jesus when you are facing circumstances that are beyond your ability. Before you speak, expect the Lord to direct you, so that you remain in His will. Prayer Thought Matthew 12:37 says, “By your words you’re justified, by your words you’re condemned.” Since what you say is what you get, don’t ever say anything you wouldn’t want to get. Mark 11:23 and Job 22:28 state that - You’ll have what you say.
