THE NEW CASTLE CUB SCOUTS SWEEP THE REGIONAL PINEWOOD DERBY!! Congratulations to all those who participated at the District race today. Pack 221 had scouts in the Tiger Cub, Wolf,and Bear division compete. Fabian Quintero won 1st place by a mere .005 of a second, and won best design by a Tiger Cub. Josh Bissinger won 1st place with Ben Peterson just behind him in 3rd place. Additionally, Ben won 2nd place for best design. Our Pack champion, Drake Harcourt, continued his winning ways, and not only won 1st place for the Bears, but was the Grand Champion, fastest of the fast, of our District (Summit Co. Aspen, Carbondale, Basalt, New Castle, Silt, Rifle, Steamboat Springs, Craig, and Meeker). Can you believe it, (3) 1st place finishes in the 3 divisions that we raced in, in addition to the over all Grand Champion! We missed not having the Webelos there for a complete sweep.
