Crossing the Pennines, the travel and transport heritage trail through the stunning scenery of the Colne Valley is head-to-head with a community cafe in Hull, in the Peoples Millions/Big Lottery competition, on WEDNESDAY 26TH NOVEMBER for £50k. The money will restore an ancient packhorse track authentically to complete the trail, giving skills to young people and attracting visitors to enjoy the hospitality of our cafes, shops and galleries. Its a telephone vote, so the public will decide! Lines are open from 9am - midnight on Weds 26th November; the numbers to call will be shown on the trails website, crossingthepennines.co.uk and on peoplesmillions.org from 9am. They will also be in the Daily Mirror and in a short film about the project will be shown on ITVs news programme Calendar at 6pm.
