THE OLIVET DISCOURSE Matthew 24 Part 3 The THREE PEOPLES Matthew 24:4-44 1. The GENTILES Of The WORLD And Their REACTION To Christ. Matthew 24:4-14 Matthew 24:4-8 Many false Christs, wars and rumours of wars, nations against nations, kingdoms against kingdoms, famines, pestilences, and earthquakes...these are only the beginning of sorrows Many will be afflicted and killed for Jesus sake others will be offended of Jesus and hated for Jesus sake. False prophets shall deceive many and their love will grow cold. But he that shall endure to the end shall be saved. How the Gentiles REACT to the Gospel of the Kingdom will determine their eternal destiny. The kingdom will be preached to all Gentiles worldwide during the tribulation. The term endure to the end, is speaking of those, who refuse the worship of Antichrist and has nothing to do with the present day gospel of grace. A born again believer does not ENDURE we are SECURE in Christ. 2. The JEWS Of ISRAEL And Their RESTORATION By Christ. Matthew 24:15-31 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Matthew 24:15-16 The abomination of desolation is when the Antichrist goes into the rebuilt temple in Jerusalem and declares himself God. This is when the national blindness of Israel is removed! The Antichrist will then turn on Israel and try to destroy them. Jesus warns them that are with child and tells them to pray that when they need to flee that it not be in winter and not on the sabbath day. Then great tribulation not seen since the beginning of time will occur. The sun shall be darkened, the moon will have no light and the stars will fall. Unless the days are shortened no flesh will be alive! And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Matthew 24:31 3. The BRIDE Of The LAMB And Their RAPTURE By Christ. Matthew 24:36-44 Jesus then turns to His bride. He says, Israel will become a nation again in (Matthew 24:32-35). The generation that sees this occur will know that the rapture or the beginning of the tribulation is near. A generation is 70 years. Israel became a nation in 1948. We are in the year 2014 or 66 years ago since Israel became a nation! Jesus said this generation (ours), will live in a time, as it were in the days of Noah. Before the flood they were eating! drinking! marrying! and had no idea Jesus was going to come as a thief in the night and remove His people! Then Jesus warns all upon this earth today....... Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house (Satan) had known in what watch the thief would come he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Matthew 24:42-44 Are you ready? Jesus will save you today. Tell God you are a guilty sinner. Repent by telling God you have been wrong and need Jesus Christ. That you believe He died for you, was buried, and raised from the dead. Place your faith totally in Christ as your Savior. Nothing in this world is worth your own soul. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13 Dont be left behind!
