THE ORIGIN OF FEAR...Fear is a human emotion. Sons of God know not of it. The emotion fear indicates that mind perceives itself to be OUTSIDE of God, bereft of Him, alone in a hostile and unpredictable world. Fear, thus, tells us that we perceive ourselves to be DISTANCED from God, from Source, from life itself since God is life. Fear was not given us. We create fear, and, since that which we create we believe to be REAL, no one, not even God, Himself, can take from us our property, our creation. We must be coaxed, gently persuaded by the Holy Spirit to voluntarily give up that which we, in truth, do not desire. Fear is an indication that we believe whole heartily in the BODY-MIND COMPLEX. The body-mind complex is where mind, in error, believes itself to be one with the body and dependent on the body for its safety. Since mind knows the body is perishable, here today and gone tomorrow, it cannot help but be afraid. Those who believe they are a body are never without some modcum of fear. Even during their happier days there always exists some residual fear just beneath the surface ready at a moments notice to spring forth, to take over the host and plunge him/her into the abyss of paralyzing torment. Humans are never without fear. Once mind, however, breaks it chains and return back unto its senses, back unto sanity, back unto Spirit, foregoing its allegiance to the body, then, fear is no more. No more does mind conceive itself to be a son of man. Mind now knows it is the beloved Son of God, of Source, and, that its natural abode is INSIDE God rather than OUTSIDE, looking in. This relationship, this newfound Home is called the Secret Place, known only to those who have diligently sought for and found it. The body is no longer perceive as an instrument of pleasure, an object of self-glorification. It becomes a tool, to be used and gently laid aside when no longer needed. FEAR is now meaningless, a mist, a vapor, that evaporates with the rising of the suns heat. Sons of God do not suffer because they cannot. What is there that can make them afraid when they abide in the Father, move in the Father, have their being in Him, and, take up their rest in Him? Absolutely nothing. Selah. ~PA~.
