May those who sorrow find comfort; the weary, rest; the troubled, peace; the stranger, friends; the unhappy, joy; and to all, the sense of God’s presence in this Holy place. WELCOME BACK—to Mr. Ayo Oredugba who will assist in the music ministry during the month of August. SPECIAL THANKS—to all those who made the annual Holy Trinity Boat Ride a success. Persons with outstanding tickets and money are asked to submit them to the parish office by this, Friday, 9 August 2013. To Mr. and Mrs. Hermes Laing and family from Nassau, The Bahamas, members of the Church of the Nativity, ICCEC, for their donation of a lectern to St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Mt. Grennon. HOLY TRINITY’S SACRISTY ROOF PROJECT— by the Grace of God will begin during the month of August. All men throughout the parish are asked to lend a helping hand and make this project an opportunity to fellowship and work together. Pray for: the Diocese of the Windward Islands; the Bishop, the Right Reverend C. Leopold Friday, the clergy and people. Pray for persons in our parish who are studying aboard: Ms. Nollene Sutherland (Barbados); Ms. Nadique Browne - Collins (Barbados) and Ms. Alessa Lynch (Venezula). JOB OPPORTUNITY—The Parish Office is seeking a new Administrative Assistant to begin as of, Monday, 2, September 2013. All Parishioners who are desirous and qualified are encouraged to complete and submit the application to the Parish Office by Friday, August 23, 2013 WARDEN’S MEETING – to be held on Monday, 5th August 2013 at 5PM in the Parish Hall. ST. PETER’S RESTORATION COMMITTEE MEETING – will be held on Tuesday, 6th August 2013 at 5PM in the Parish Hall. FUNERAL SERVICE - for the late Mrs. Jennifer Nichola Conner will be held 2 PM on Thursday, 8th August 2013 in Holy Trinity Parish Church. Interment will follow in the Church’s cemetery. All parish organizations especially the Mother’s Union and friends are asked to attend. WEEKDAY MASS—There will be NO Weekday Mass during the month of August. EVENSONG—There will be NO Evensong, Address and Benediction during the month of August. BACK TO SCHOOL SUNDAY— On Sunday, September 1st 2013 at 8 AM in a joint Parish Mass we will celebrate “Back to School Sunday”. ALL current students and members are asked to wear your school or alma mater uniform. This Sunday each school will sit together and asked at an appointed time to sing their school song. Our guest speaker will be announced shortly. INSTITUTION AND INDUCTION—The Institution and Induction of the Rev’d Everton Weekes, as Rector of the Parish of St. Mary’s, Bequia, the Grenadines, is scheduled for 10:00 AM on Tuesday 3rd September 2013 being the feast of Gregory, the Great, Bishop of Rome at St. Mary’s Parish Church, Port Elizabeth, Bequia. Your prayers and presence are requested. ORDINATION— By the Grace of God, the Rev’d Mrs. Eleanor C. Glasgow will be ordained to the Sacred Order of Priest along with Mrs. Myrtle Gordon and Ms. Yvette Calliste to the Holy Order of Deacons 5 PM on Monday, September 9th 2013 being the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary at the St. Patrick’s Church, Sauteurs, St. Patrick, Grenada. LAY READERS / EUCHARISTIC ASSISTANTS—are you interested in becoming a lay reader or Eucharistic Assistants? Join the Parish Priest for an interest meeting 5PM on Wednesday, 7 August 2013 in the Parish Hall. PARISH CHURCH COUNCIL—will resume on Monday, September 2nd 2013 at 5:30 PM. THE HOLY BAPTISM WILL BE ADMINISTERED—7AM on Sunday, 8 September 2013 at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Commercial Road, Georgetown, St. Vincent on the Sixteenth Sunday after Pentecost commemorating the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Those persons who desire their child(ren) to be baptized are kindly asked to collect a baptismal form from the parish office. FLOWERS ON THE ALTAR—Persons desirous of making a donation to purchase flowers in thanksgiving for marriage, anniversary of marriage, birthday or in loving memory of relatives and friends may contact the church office. Arrangements are $40.00 XCD each. Flowers do not adorn the Sanctuary during Advent & Lent. Persons with anniversaries or commemorations during these seasons may donate flowers for Christmas and Easter respectively.
