Manny Pacquiao did not find religion; he ran away from religion after finding Christ and surrendering his life, family and boxing to the Almighty. Here in the picture, he is shown giving testimony about his transformation experience and the need to read the Word of God. What an awesome testimony before the Conference of Assemblies of God (AG) in the Philippines, just recently. (AG is the denomination where I have my accreditation and serve as a minister of God). Religion is nothing. Most specially organized religion not bathed in the Holy Spirit, and His gifting of anointing, wisdom and love for service. As per the Apostle Paul, “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” Yes, it is a faith that gives out love through service to the needy, and that sanctifies one away from the evils of the world and toward godliness.
