THE PERSECUTION CONTINUES. Counterfire have circulated a statement packed with slanderous lies in an effort to ruin the reputation of the hardworking Sunderland activist they had removed from Sunderland Peoples Assembly. Shamefully they claim the statement represents the view of Sunderland Peoples Assembly when there are only eleven names in support of said statement. The majority of people that have participated in Sunderland Peoples Assembly meetings and online discussions are not listed as supporters of the statement as they either know already that it is complete nonsense or they are not prepared, and quite rightly, to attack a person without hearing their defence. And that defence starts with this: There is no mention in the statement of Counterfires aim to push the defendant out of Sunderland Peoples Assembly; nor is there any reference to the social circle used by the Counterfire leaders to strengthen their hate campaign - a group based around one individuals irrational personal grudge. Their case against the defendant is fundamentally flawed as the facts that set the context within which his actions took place are entirely absent. In a court of law such a case would be thrown out.
