THE PLANED MILITARY TAKE OVER OF OSUN STATE: AN INVITATION TO A NEW LAWLESS ORDER It is a big shame that President Jonathan not having a good record upon which to win an election is now resulting to military manoeuvrings; kinds of military coups in opposition states to get power. In a peaceful state like Ekiti, he deployed over 40,000 men just to rig an election while helpless citizens of Boronu state are being attacked on daily bases and there is nobody to help. The other day in Adamawa, military men led by lawmakers forced the deputy governor to tender his resignation. And again the military was deployed to work with the state assembly to ensure the governor was impeached. This is the same operation that in on-going in Nassarawa and is being initiated for Osun State election, while keeping Rivers, Edo and Imo in view. According to President Jonathan’s followers, this is a sign that the man is not clueless. But that makes me laugh. One wonders what can be more clueless than the gradual destruction of our democracy by a man who is so desperate to remain in power that the future of Nigeria does not matter to him. For those who care to know, this isnt what it means to be clueful. This is a destructive adventure that will definitely hunt this society and will end up creating more hardliners who will destroy what is left of Nigeria. And for those who are jubilation over this, I want you to know that whatever we do is a seed, one day we will surely reap of it. According to the book of Genesis 8:22 as long as the earth remains seed time and harvest shall not cease. Mind you, in future this will surely come back to hunt his clueless clan, because what goes around comes around. And if Nigerians are forced to begin to take extra measures to protect themselves and their electoral victory, it will be the end of obedience to order.
