I have lived in Sokoto, and i witnessed what a permanent secretary who is an indigene suffered discrimination because he is a christian. Similarly in Kebbi, Zamfara, Katsina, Kano and other states dominated by hausa\fulani too. Why are the yorubas, igbos, urobos and other tribes in Jos? Why are they not complaining or seeking inclusion? It is glaring why the country is facing security challenges posed by the dreaded boko haram; born-to-rule syndrome. I wonder what this country would have been if the christian settlers or minority indigenes in the north will seek inclusion in their respective states as this writer narrated. The christian minority in the far northern states are compelled to pay by deduction from their monthly salaries monies for mosques maintenance and they still do not object, haba! Be fair in your submissions for the judgement day will surely come no matter how far it may seem to be. 34 mins · Like Sabiu Ahmad Thank you for helping me out in the interpretation of the problems at hand to a lay man understanding, we have accepted our faith of being settlers in your Land of Plateau, but the fact is that our numbers are increasing day in day out, and politics and sharing/derivation formular for distribution of the resources to the state has to do with population. our bond of contention is that we are born and brought up in Jos Plateau and most of us dont know our state of origins, even if we know, they too reject us as strangers. Jos is now our base we the Jasawas. pleaase help us proffer solutions to our problems please. no hard feelings please be objective and dont be subjective please. thank you as i believe ethnic cleansing and violence will not solve the problem. this is an undeniable fact please. 18 mins · Like
