THE PLAYTHING WE ARE. Since the outbreak of Ebola,as Africans,we have further come to the stark reality of how not only unbelievably primordial our actions are but the mentality of those who sit in the different nations cockpits?This almost uncontainable pandemic has brought us into the public view of the world how less a people we are in Africa. Without a total disregard to the provenance of Ebola,its proliferation in recent times,etc. ,questions of what African leaders are made of cannot be left untackled.How could successive governments rule without a sense of proactiveness?How could dafts keep ruling a people? The Ebola crisis has shown to the world how Africans are not only backward in health infrastructures,but how bereft or lacking in substantial ideas on how to solve or adequately check or ameliorate certain unforeseen but anticipated challenges. Take for instance in Liberia,Sierra Lone most especially,it seems there were no medical facilities on ground.But how could morons be in power and forget that leadership entails taking vital sectors into close consideration?How could a government only become frantic when Ebola related deaths had spiraled out of control?Are we equally saying in those seemingly nonexistent governments,they also had misfits as ministers of health that they couldnt apprise their employers the devastating monstrosity of Ebola? As things presently stand,a backlash of African governments cant be more justifiable.It beats one hollow that many years after independence,an eternal vicious circle of intractable backwardness still dogs us.We just cant get it right in Africa till dooms day!We just cant! Now,the world just looks at Africa as less a people simply and squarely because of the leadership question that has continued to remain elusive even though getting it right is within grasp. What about the mentality of the civilians?With patients running from quarantine in Nigeria and Liberia;our mentality is warped! #EBOLAISGETTINGWORSE
