THE PLEASURES AND PERILS OF ELITISM Indeed every society has its elites, by which i mean members of the society who occupy a higher position of status, prestige and respect. This phenomenon is very ancient, and we even find it among the lower animals... hahahaha... Take the pecking order of birds for example, in every flock of fowls, a rigid social order is established. There is one hen that PECKS ALL THE OTHERS and is never pecked by any of them. There is one that is pecked by every other hen in the flock but NEVER PECKS BACK. In between these two extremes the other hens know whom they may peck without RETALIATION and who could peck them with IMPUNITY... hahahaha... this is a raw form of elitism. Now tell me my beloved friend, which would you rather be? Those who may peck without RETALIATION, those who could peck with IMPUNITY, those at the HIGHEST EXTREMES or those at the LOWEST EXTREMES... hahahaha
